Biostatistical Research Data Analyst II

  • BSc., or MSc or PhD preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a health facility or health research environment, with similar involvement in:

    • identifying or working with administrative data sources
    • designing research studies
    • procuring data
    • preparing reports
    • editing with scientific rigour
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Manager, Business Insights Specialist

  • Must be proficient with quantitative analysis tools and concepts
  • Working knowledge of SAS and/or Python
  • High degree of proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Word
  • Experience supporting wholesale businesses and understanding of wholesale products and processes
  • Strong accounting or finance background, with the ability to interpret balance sheets and income statements
  • Knowledge of wholesale stress testing processes is an asset
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • CFA / FRM certification is preferred

Research Associate, Health Data Analytics & Evaluation

  • Master’s degree in a health science-related field
  • 1–3 years of technical experience working with health data
  • Advanced proficiency with statistical software such as:
    • R
    • Stata
    • SAS

    and demonstrated ability to present and interpret data using visualization tools like:

    • Tableau
    • R
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Alberta’s health data systems and platforms (e.g., Connect Care, physician claims, DAD)
  • Familiarity with:
    • health care systems
    • academic environments
    • provincial QI initiatives
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and tools, including:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • MS Teams
